There are many people who enjoy going out at night with their friends. This does not mean they are out running the streets of course. Instead, they are spending their time out at a bar or club. Most bars or clubs provide food, drinks, and music for guests to enjoy. Some locations will have space handy for dancing while others may include the challenge of mechanical bull riding! All bars and most clubs may have an age requirement of 21 and over to drink or enter in general, and the prices will vary per location.

The bars and clubs at the Power Plant Live include Angles Rock Bar, Havana Club, Mosaic, Howl At The Moon, Luckie's Tavern, and PBR Baltimore.

Not everyone enjoys going to bars and clubs. Some people just do not enjoy the environment of a bar or club. It may be too loud, crowded, or uncomfortable for them. But this does not mean they have to miss out on the fun. Guests can go out to eat at one of the restaurants at Power Plant Live. Get a delicious meal or dessert and non-alcoholic and alcoholic drink. Try the steak and sides at Ruth's Chris Steak House. Guests who enjoy an Asian cuisine may want to try the food at Tatu. The food is served in three popular styles, which are Chinois Pan Asian, Szechwan Chinese, and Japanese Sushi. Two Boots is a great place to visit if visitors are in the mood for pizza. Visitors can relax and eat right on the outdoor patio.

There is more to the Power Plant Live than just food and drinks. Power Plant is also a good source of entertainment! Everyone loves to laugh and have fun! The comedians that make their way to the Baltimore Comedy Factory will provide the laughs! Visitors can also check out the beach themed bar at the Baltimore Comedy Factory. Anyone who enjoys are can visit the Maryland Art Place. This art center has three state of the art galleries to check out! Rams Head Live is the home of many concerts, including Constantine Maroulis, Blue October, NOFX, Good Charlotte, and Taking Back Sunday. The ticket prices for concerts will vary. Every now and then, there are concerts held right outside in the Power Plant Live area as well! Some of the outdoor concerts are even free!

There are many hotels in the downtown area and near the Power Plant Live for any out of town guests or anyone who is not planning to travel home that night. A few of the hotels include Fairfield Inn & Suites Baltimore Downtown, Holiday Inn Express Hotel Baltimore-Downtown, Renaissance Harborplace Hotel, Hyatt Regency Baltimore, and The Marriott Residence Inn-Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor. The rates and services will vary per hotel. Some of the hotels have cab stands near by and they drive through the area often. There are MTA bus stops through out the downtown and Inner Harbor area, and near the Power Plant. The buses that run through the area are the 10, 13, 30, 35, and 61. The MTA can change at anytime, so be sure to double check the routes, schedules, and fares before making your trip.

Everyone wants to go out and have fun once in awhile. It's good to take a break from the daily routine and have a good time. But in order for the night to remain fun, safety should always come first. Anyone who chooses to drink should do so responsibly. Do not drink anything you cannot handle and do not drink too much, especially if you are driving. Do not accept a drink from anyone you do not know. Plan out a way home in advance and ask someone to pick you up and/or be the designated driver. Since most people visit the Power Plant Live at night, avoid going alone. Take a friend or two with you and do not go to or from the Power Plant Alone. Some of the safety precautions may not seem like much fun, but it is always better to be safe than sorry.

From the restaurants to the concerts, the Power Plant Live will provide a break from a hectic schedule and a night of fun!
