Escaping Winter – Places to visit

If you feel like you need to get away this winter then there are loads of places to choose from. Of course these will depend on what you are looking for, however great choices include:

Mexico is a great place for a post Christmas get away. In January you find the whole country relaxed and it really is an enjoyable time to go and enjoy their white sand beaches.

Chile is idea if you are looking for a valentines day/February get away. During the month of February they have a yearly Tapati festival. For two weeks Easter Island is taken over with song, dance, parades and competitions.

Barbados is a good choice for somewhere to visit if you want a winter/very early spring get aware. The hotels there are packed full of things to do then none of you will be bored, no matter your age!

For a get away after summer is over then you can’t go far wrong with some where like Kenya. You can take part in any number of activities including camel trekking, rafting, mountain biking and riding.

For an even later get away then visit Mauritius in November as this is when its weather is best.

For a magical December get away but not try somewhere like Lapland. The weather won’t be warm but you will be surrounded by the magic of Christmas.
