Four Oklahoma Food Festivals to Visit in February 2011

This February travelers should consider checking out the following four, annual food festivals located across Oklahoma.


German Feast and Silent Auction



On February 5th, 2011 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm the "Corn Bible Academy" will be holding its annual "German Feast and Silent Auction" in Corn.



Considered to be the fifth oldest Christian school in the United States, the "Corn Bible Academy" holds this event annually to raise funds for the school.



Festival goers will have an opportunity to enjoy traditional German-Mennonite cuisine as well as bid on and purchase handicrafts and homemade food products.

Chocolate Festival



On February 5th, 2011 from 10:30 am until 2:30 pm the "Norman Fire House Arts Center" will be holding its annual "Chocolate Festival" at the OU Forum Building in Norman.

Frederick Fantastic Oyster Fry and Craft Show



On February 26th, 2011 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm the "Frederick Chamber of Commerce" will be holding its annual "Frederick Fantastic Oyster Fry and Craft Show" at the Prather Brown Cafeteria in Prather.



Tickets to the event go on sale in January and admission generally includes choice of oysters, slaw, chips, bread and choice of beverage.

Waynoka Chili Cook Off



On February 26th, 2011 the "Waynoka Chamber of Commerce" will be holding its annual "Waynoka Chili Cook Off" in downtown Waynoka from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.



While there visitors will be able to enjoy sampling a variety of chili and voting on which of the participating chefs makes the hottest and best chili in town.
