Top Five Denver Attractions for Children Age Two to Four

Looking for something to do with your young family in Denver, CO? These five attractions are child friendly and fun for the whole family.

Jump Street

Price: 3 and under $4 all day | 7 and under $6 an hour | 8 + $12 an hour

Locations: Greenwood Village | Littleton | Thornton

Jump Street is an indoor trampoline park. They have three Colorado locations in Greenwood Village, Littleton and Thornton.

Dodge ball, trampoline parks and giant blow up slides are some of the main attractions.

We went with a two year old and four year old and they had a great time. There are special areas for young children, and they enforce these rules. The two year old was a little run over on the giant slide, but he was all smiles. Not to mention he cost $4 for the whole day.

Boondocks Fun Center

Location: Northglenn

Boondocks fun center has batting cages, go carts, video games, laser tag, miniature golf and much more. The attractions are reasonably priced and well maintained.

With all of the attractions there is something for everyone.

This is my favorite fun center for over a decade, yet they continue to remain fresh and fun. We have thrown birthday parties here for a four year old (guests ranged from two to ten) and everyone had a good time.

Denver Zoo

Location: Denver

Price: March 1- October 31 | 2 and under Free | Ages 3-11 $8 | Ages 12-64 $13 | Ages 65+ $10

November 1- February 28 | 2 and under Free | Ages 3-11 $6 | Ages 12-64 $10 | Ages 65+ $8

The Denver Zoo has giraffes, elephants, bears and much more. Bring a stroller or wagon for the little ones and pack a box lunch.

We went to the zoo with the two year old and four year old during winter and this is absolutely the best time of year to go. No crowds, and the temperatures were in the 60's.

Denver Museum of History and Science

Location: Denver

Price: Junior/Student $6 | Adult $12 | Senior $8

The Denver Museum of History and Science has many great special exhibits, IMAX movies and more. The landscaping around the museum is a lot of fun and they have one of the best views of downtown Denver.

The outside of the museum is free, and a great destination in and of itself. It is a great place to take two and four year olds. It may be more fun (and cheaper) to visit the outside of the museum than the museum itself.

Downtown Aquarium

Location: Denver

Price: Children (2 and under) FREE | Children (3-11) $9.99 | Adults (12-64) $15.99 | Seniors (65+) $14.99

The downtown aquarium sparks the interest of children with the creatures that live below the ocean. A rare attraction that I never thought Denver would never have, but considerably smaller than flagship aquariums.
