Rhythm and Ribs Festival



The annual, St. Augustine, "Rhythm and Ribs Festival" will take place from April 15th through April 17th, 2011 in "Francis Field."



Festival goers will be treated to three days of live "swamp rock and soul" music accompanied by some of the best southern barbecue the historic, Florida coast has to offer.



The festivities will commence on Friday, April 15th at 5:00 pm and continue until 10:00 pm that evening. On Saturday the festival will resume at 11:00 am, with live entertainment and barbecue being served right up until 10:00 pm. The event will wind up on Sunday with hours running from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm.



Headlining on the center stage will be the renowned musical group, "JJ Grey and Mofro" from Jacksonville, Florida.



Admission to Friday's festivities is $2 per person. The price, however, will increase to $5 per person as of 3:00 pm on Saturday and remain at that price until the festival's end.

As of 2011, regular trolley ticket prices are $23 per adult and $10 per child between the ages of 6 through 12. Children 5 and under are gratis.



Those travelers that choose not to purchase a "Historic Trolley Tour Package" from the "Comfort Inn and Suites" can still save some money on trolley tickets by purchasing them online.



Presently, those that purchase trolley tickets online can expect to save anywhere from $1 to $3 per ticket.

The "Saint Augustine Sunshine Beach Bus" runs daily year round and tends to cost $1 per a one-way trip for those that have not previously purchased a package through another entity such as the "Old Town Trolley Tours of Saint Augustine."



Guests of the "Comfort Inn Suites" can board the beach bus from the adjacent outlet mall at the following times; 6:00 am, 7:00 am, 8:00 am, 9:00 am, noon, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
