Hotel Guide: Medford, Oregon

So you've found yourself in Medford, Oregon? Well, this wonderful city has been around for quite some time, being incorporated as a city in 1885, and was then brought into affluence in the fifties due to the construction of I-5. There are many reasons why people find themselves here in this wonderful city, however, no matter why you are in this city, there is one thing that you are going to be in need of - and that's a great hotel. Well, I have researched and reviewed the top three of these hotels for potential guests consideration.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Ashland Springs Hotel. This three-star-hotel is located in the southern portion of Oregon's Rogue River Valley, and is also only one block where the Oregon Shakespeare Festival takes place. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes a a complimentary Continental breakfast, as well as discounted access to the Ashland Oregon Racquet Club, which offers racquetball courts, exercise classes, a lap pool and a wide variety of fitness equipment. There is also wireless Internet access available throughout the hotel for a surcharge.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Red Lion Hotel Medford. This three-star-hotel is located just one block off of Main Street in downtown Medford, and is only thirteen miles from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes two outdoor swimming pools, as well as a fitness room to keep yourself in shape while you're on the go. There is also laundry facilities available on site for guests use. There is also complimentary wireless Internet access available in all public areas of the hotel. This hotel has 185 guestrooms, all of which include complimentary wireless Internet access, as well as hair dryers, and complimentary local telephone calls.

And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Courtyard by Marriott. This hotel is located only two blocks from the Medford-Jackson County Airport, thus making it very popular with airport travelers. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes complimentary wireless Internet access, which is available in the lobby. There is also a twenty-four-hour market, which offers snacks and other items. There is also an indoor swimming pool, a spa tub, and a fitness center. The hotel also offers its guests complimentary airport transportation. This hotel consists of 100 guestrooms, all of which include complimentary high-speed Internet access, pay movies, cable Television with complimentary premium channels, as well as complimentary newspapers.
