Bachelor Pad Episode 4 Recap: Things Get Nasty and Wes and Krisily Sent Packing While Couple Elizabeth and Kovacs Still Strong (August 30, 2010-ABC)

There are 11 contestants left on the Bachelor Pad after tonight's elimination ceremony. The Kiptyn-Tenley and Elizabeth-Kovacs partnerships are still intact. No one knows about Natalie and David. And the quarter-million dollar prize is still up for grabs.

Nasty Truth competition

The remaining 13 contestants were given a survey to complete after Gia and Jonathan were sent home last week. They were instructed to fill-in their answers alone, and discuss the content with no one. The irony was that these contestants were to tell the truth in a game that has been rife with sneakiness up to this point.

The following morning after the answers had been tallied, the contestants were called outside by host Chris Harrison and co-host Melissa Rycroft for the competition.

There were several questions asked of the contestants. They were to answer what they believed the majority of the housemates answered. If correct, they would earn a point. The first two (one man and one woman) who earned four points won the competition, immunity from elimination, and the opportunity to ask one person on a date.

The questions asked at the competition, for the majority's answers, were cause for many hurt feelings, and a lot of tears.

Who is going to win?-Kiptyn
Who is your biggest enemy?-Krisily
Who is the most shallow?--Elizabeth
Who is dumbest?-Gwen (though Natalie received the most answers about what the group thought)

At this point, Tenley had won the competition for the women, having been right on all four questions, and received her rose.

There were three more questions, which tied Jesse and Kovacs.

Who has the most with secret crush?-Dave
Who will always be a bridesmaid, but never a bride?-Natalie (even Dave, who is involved secretly with her, thought the majority would say this)
Who is the biggest jerk?-Wes (Wes was eliminated when he answered incorrectly with this question.)

Tie-breaker question: Who has the worst boob job?-Elizabeth. Jesse B. was the winner of the men's competition.

All contestants seemed to be emotionally drained, and Dave and Kovacs seemed especially concerned for Natalie and Elizabeth, respectively, and shared that they had learned how much they cared.

The dates

Tenley chose Kiptyn for the date and the two of them went for a helicopter ride, Kiptyn's first. They went to Catalina Island, enjoyed zip-lining together, and spent time getting to know one another without being under constant scrutiny from the others in the mansion.

Tenley gave Kiptyn immunity with the rose, and they spent the night in the "fantasy suite." Tenley said it was the first time she had spent that much time with anyone since Jake Pavelka broke her heart on The Bachelor.

Jesse B. chose Peyton their date, and had a great time flying in a biplane. With Peyton, he felt instant attraction and gave her the rose almost immediately. Peyton gladly accepted immunity from being eliminated.

Though she initially was interested in Jesse B. romantically, it was clear that they were not in synch with a connection, and that Peyton saw Jesse more as a brother, rather than a boyfriend. Jesse's comfort in being able to belch and stick his finger in Peyton's nose did not endear him to her romantically. She graciously declined the "fantasy suite" invitation.

Elimination ceremony

Wes continued to try to persuade others to break up the couples to weaken those alliances, and to make the game make more sense. Unfortunately, he was unable effect the changes he needed and he was eliminated, when Kovacs received the last rose.

Because Gwen has stayed under the radar throughout the competition, many were starting to question whether or not she could be trusted. Even so, the last two standing were Elizabeth and Krisily. Elizabeth remained safe, while the outspoken Krisily was sent home.

Krisily expressed her anger at being lied to outright. David had indicated he would keep her safe and gave her a quick Judas-style peck on the cheek.

Wes said that he treated the show like a "job" and felt that others are not being smart in the strategies they are choosing to try to win the money.

What about next week?

Little has yet been revealed about next's show, but with seven women and four men remaining, they will be making some changes right away in the competition.

The sneak peek preview showed Chris Harrison announcing that three of the women will be eliminated at the start of next week's show, to even up the numbers of men and women.

Bachelor Pad airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
