Festival of Trees When: Dec 1 - 4, 2010

Where: Marina Civic Center

Date: 12/01/2009 - 12/04/2009 This annual fundraiser helps ring in the Christmas season through a beautiful display of uniquely designed Christmas trees, wreaths, centerpieces and gingerbread houses. The General Admission is planned for Friday Dec 4, 5-9 pm. There will be free crafts for kids, a tour of trees, concessions and holiday treats, silent auction, and an entertainment stage. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids. Families get a discount.

Run for the Redfish When: Dec 4, 2010 8:00 AM Where: Pier Park

Runners from across the Southeast will participate in the inaugural Run for the Redfish in Panama City Beach, Florida. A combined half marathon, 5k run and kids' fun run will be held at Pier Park. A portion of the proceeds for event will benefit the Coast Conservation Association (CCA). Start Times: 8:00 AM (1/2 Marathon), 8:30 AM (5K) and 10:00 AM for Kids' Fun Run. Event features: Timing Chip for 1/2 Marathon SWAG Bag to all 1/2 and 5K runners Aid and water stations located at miles 2,4,6,8,10 & 12 Music on course sponsored by DJ Markie Mark.

The Classic Russian Nutcracker

2nd Annual New Year's Eve Beach Ball Drop

When: Dec 31, 2010 5:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Where: Pier Park

Family time from 5:30 to 8:30 featuring bounce houses, party favors, street performers, and live radio remotes. The New Year's Eve countdown celebration begins at 9 p.m., with live entertainment and prize giveaways until the 800 pound beach ball drops 12 stories at midnight, followed by a dazzling fireworks display.
