2007 New Year's Eve Parties in Amsterdam

If you're going to be in Amsterdam on New Year's Eve, you'll have a great time. The city begins its New Year's celebration as early as Dec. 29. The streets are busy with tourists and the air is filled with excitement. If you aren't hosting your own New Year's Eve party, there are plenty of festivities and parties in Amsterdam to suit your fancy. Amsterdam Marcanti

Amsterdam Marcanti, a contemporary nightclub in central Amsterdam, will hold its exclusive Latin House Night to celebrate New Year's Eve. There are three areas were you can dance, hang out in the lounge and enjoy the music. There is also a VIP area and valet parking available. There will be Latin house and eclectic music. The Sand

If you're looking for a lively party on New Year's Eve, the Sand is a great place. This spacious studio will be the site of the Dilemma party featuring Fedde le Grande, Chuckie, Benny Rodrigues, Erick E. and Don Diablo. The doors open at 9 p.m. The cost is 49,50 euro in advance. Supperclub

End the year in style at the Supperclub. You can enjoy a night with DJ's, VJ's, hostesses, dancers. You'll be able to feast on finger foods and glass of champagne before midnight. Zebra

Go to the Zebra Club for the Soigne (The Champagne Society.) When you visit this club with two floors, you'll be able to enjoy both house and eclectic music. The Djs scheduled to perform are Benjamin Brown, Denniz, Edurado Ramirez, Fedor Limjoco, Franck, Goodgrip, Joshua Walters, Noelle, Robert Feelgood, Tom Boye, MC Choral and MC Pryme. Nieuwmarkt (Newmarket) Square

A great place to hang out and celebrate the holiday is Nieuwmarkt Square. There will be fireworks everywhere as people light their own fireworks. The festivities begin around 11 p.m. and end around 2 a.m. You can grab a bite to eat in the cafes nearby.

Dam Square

Another outdoor celebration takes place at Dam Square. The square will have beer tents and live shows. Expect there to be a crowd of tourists. At midnight you can join the other locals and tourists as they run through the streets with their bottles of champagne wishing each other a Happy New Year.
